Antonelli, the ۲۰-year-old young driver, drew attention with his astonishing victory in the recent Monaco race, and while controlling his emotions, he told the radio team: "This is a dream come true."

Victory from the Farthest Point

This victory was achieved from the farthest starting position since John Watson's win at the United States Grand Prix in ۱۹۸۳. With this victory, Antonelli increased his ۶۶-point lead over his teammate, George Russell, in the championship race. He said: "This is an amazing day. I couldn't have made it here without my team, family, and everyone who supports me."

Of course, Antonelli avoided talking about the possibility of becoming the first Italian world champion since ۱۹۵۳, when Alberto Ascari was champion. He added: "There are still a few races left, so we will try to keep our focus. But yes, now we want to celebrate today."

Challenges on the Path

This young driver faced a scare with four laps remaining while trying to overtake Russell and went into the pit. He explained: "It was a scary moment because the asphalt was breaking up, but I still thought I could get through that corner. After that, I told myself I might have lost my chance, but fortunately, we had enough speed, and I was able to bring home the victory."

Starting from the back of the grid due to a penalty, Antonelli managed to move from ۱۹th to ۱۲th in the early laps. After a stoppage due to Charles Leclerc's crash, he realized that the chance for victory was within reach and said: "After the second restart, I knew I could have a chance for the win."

Meanwhile, George Russell, his teammate, expressed disappointment at not securing the victory, saying: "It's easy to say I should have pitted, but at that moment, I felt I was in control of the situation."

Toto Wolff, the head of the Mercedes team, praised Antonelli, calling him the first home winner in Monaco since ۱۹۶۶, and said: "It was truly amazing. He had control throughout the race and started without taking risks."
